Michael Chandler fought out his Bellator MMA contract on Friday, and won, crushing former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson. “Iron” now has the most wins (18) and finishes (13) in Bellator. Or had; Ariel Helwani believes Chandler is UFC bound.

At the post-fight press conference, Chandler, 34, was asked about a potential fight with former UFC champ champ Conor McGregor.
The thing about Conor McGregor is, I have always loved what he has done for the sport,” said Chandler. “I have never once hated on him.
In the very beginning, I did say that he is not as good as he thinks but he is better than we think he is and he continues to prove that. I still think he is not as good as he thinks, but that’s a testament to his self-belief.”
As far as that fight goes, I finish Conor under two in my opinion, It will be similar to shades of like Diaz 1, wear him down, hit him with hard shots.
Take every single one of his shots. He has got that sneaky and strong hard left hand, that he throws straight. You avoid that.”
