If there was a short list of UFC fighters that would create a page on OnlyFans, a subscription platform overwhelmingly dominated by adult material, Israel Adesanya probably wasn’t a front-runner in the minds of most people.

But here we are, kicking 2021 off so far as a weirder and more absurd version of 2020. Anything goes at this point, and Izzy isn’t one to fit a particular mold. The Last Stylebender didn’t become Middleweight Champion in under two years after signing with the UFC by adhering to the orthodoxy of convention, after all.

No nudes is good nudes, right?

Israel Adesanya doesn’t seem to be preparing to festoon the internet with nudes, however. There seems to be a bit of a playful strategy here with Adesanya’s recent decision to create an OnlyFans account, which requires a $9.99 monthly subscription in this case.

The account was created on December 30, 2020. Hisprofile pic is none other than Izzy mounting himself over a prostrated and defeated Paulo Costa, after a TKO stoppage and a successful title defense last September at UFC 253.

“This is where I’m posting everything now. Fight breakdowns, Vlogs, Personal pics and clips and sooooo much more from the archives that I’ve never posted!”, the page reads. A quick trip to his Instagram and Twitter as of this writing shows Adesanya’s most recent stories and tweets. In those, he’s promoting his newly created OnlyFans page. That seems to eliminate any suspicion that his profile is fake.

Israel Adesanya creates his own pay-per-view

Israel Adesanya isn’t the only professional mixed martial artist with an OnlyFans account, though he is currently the only male.

  • UFC fighters such as Jessica Eye, Claudia Gadelha, and Hannah Goldy all currently run their own OnlyFans accounts, while UFC octagon icons Arianny Celeste and Brittney Palmer also have pages. The latter two are free, while the others each charge their own arbitrary rates.
  • OnlyFans is viewed by some as a viable source of supplemental income. That’s especially so in the case of Adesanya and his charging $9.99 USD per month. That’s $13.72 in New Zealand dollars. It could soon be the only way fight fans could access his latest happenings online. If it’s just another two weeks of being quarantined in a hotel room, though, perhaps most people will pass on the premium.

Either way, Stylebender could be starting a trend here for other male mixed martial artists.

It’s not like Izzy is hurting for cash. For UFC 253, he netted $690,000 USD for his win against Paulo Costa. In March of 2020, Adesanya took home $540,000 from the UFC for defending his title against Yoel Romero. And, in the biggest combat sporting event in New Zealand-Australian history, Israel Adesanya netted an announced $490,000 for his dethroning of then-champion Robert Whittaker at UFC 243.

Although that’s still a far cry from earnings compared to, say, the announced $3,060,000 that Conor McGregor took home for his 40-second dusting of Donald Cerrone almost a full year ago at UFC 246, Israel Adesanya remains a must-watch UFC talent — OnlyFans account notwithstanding. Plus, his growing rivalry with Jon Jones will eventually conclude in the form of a chart-topping, high-paying blockbuster super fight.

What’s next for Israel Adesanya?

The current UFC Middleweight Champion is scheduled to fight UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jan Blachowicz for a chance to claim a belt in two different weight classes simultaneously; a feat only achieved by the likes of Conor McGregor, Daniel Cormier, Henry Cejudo, and Amanda Nunes.

Adesanya’s upcoming bout will be at UFC 259, which is slated for March 6. The location, whether it’s Vegas, Fight Island, or elsewhere, has yet to be determined at this time.

Should Adesanya defeat Jan Blachowicz, it could time up just right for a superfight against Jon Jones. “Bones” is busy bulking up to face the winner of the UFC Heavyweight Championship between Stipe Miocic versus Francis Ngannou. That clash is happening at some point in April.
