Jackie Chan was in Toronto in 2013 to introduce film festival screenings of three classic films (Drunken Master, The Legend of Drunken Master, and Police Story), and stopped by George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight, to recount his Best Story Ever.

Chan recalls meeting fellow martial arts legend, Bruce Lee, while shooting a bit part in Enter the Dragon. The two hit it off.

“The best story for me, I think, when I was young doing ‘Enter the Dragon’ fighting with Bruce Lee,” said Chan, then 59.

Chan recalled being bloodied with a stick, and Lee’s professional and caring response, and how he curried favor with the legend.

“I don’t know why, I just pretend (it’s) very painful,” he said. “I just want Bruce Lee to hold me.”

“I think that’s the best moment.”

The question of who would win a fight between Lee and Chan is often bantered over by fanboys, but Chan gave a certain answer earlier this year.

“Jackie, in your prime, vs. Bruce Lee, who would win?” Chan was asked.

“BRUCE LEE,” he exclaimed. “No question.”

However, while Lee appeared in five films, one posthumously, Chan has appeared in six movies, in the 1960s alone. He appeared in 47 films in the 1970s, and then his career began to take off.

Chan is reportedly shooting Kung Fu Yoga, which also features Indian actor Jackie Shroff, and his son Tiger Shroff.

Kung Fu Yoga” is a joint Chinese-Indian venture between China and India, with international political implications – it is part of three-film agreement signed by Chinese president Xi Jinping, during his visit to India in 2014.

As one might guess, the film by Stanely Tong focuses on both Yoga and Kung-Fu. Kung Fu Yoga” is being filmed in multiple locales, including South Korea, China, Spain and Dubai.
