What can you say about Bruce Lee that hasn’t already been said? Arguably the most transcendent and influential practitioner of martial arts in the world, Bruce Lee is a name that is synonymous with greatness.

He has inspired a countless number of people over the last half decade or more, many of whom make a living as professional combat athletes.

Lee was a proponent of using techniques and strategies from multiple martial arts disciplines, rather than focusing on a single one– a strategy used by today’s elite MMA competitors.

He was the first true mixed martial artist. He didn’t believe in just one style. He saw the strengths and weaknesses in everything,” said King Mo Lawal via bleacherreport.com

Lee was best known as an actor in such films as Fist of Fury, Game of Death and Enter the Dragon, but he was also a philosopher, teacher, and creator of Jeet-Kune-Do, a martial arts discipline which focused on flexibility and efficiency. While effective in combat, Lee’s martial arts techniques were often interpreted as metaphors for his teachings, which could be applied in everyday life.

Speaking about Jeet-Kune-Do, Lee once described the art as Not being tense but ready. Not thinking but not dreaming. Not being set but flexible. Liberation from the uneasy sense of confinement. It is being wholly and quietly alive, aware and alert, ready for whatever may come.

Bruce Lee’s ability to fight made him special, but it was his philosophies and life lessons that made him more than just a fighter. For some, Bruce Lee was a demigod of sorts – one who possessed power and knowledge beyond the average man or woman. For lack of a better word, he was superhuman.

Could it be possible? Could Bruce Lee, the most well-renowned martial artist of all time, actually possess powers and abilities that stretch beyond our human capability?

Strap on your tinfoil hat, hit play on the video below and check out 6 clues that Bruce Lee may have been superhuman.
