You guys, I love the following video.

Bullying scenarios often unfold in the same way. A bully is picking on a poor kid, verbally and/or physically harassing him/her. That is something scummy to do, I think we can all agree about that. But what is as terrible is the people who are witnessing the altercation.

I mean, how people manage to passively look at someone being harassed is beyond me, but sometimes these people will go as far as to cheer for the bully and film the whole thing. It honestly makes me sick.

The following altercation is different though, and that is why I love it.

The video opens with a scene of a bully swinging wildly and tossing his much smaller victim on the ground. While most people present at the scene of the altercation probably got a good out of watching this whole mess, a kid refused to be a coward and decided someone had to step up to the bully.

Enter the victim’s friend.

This kid, who can be seen wearing a blue shirt, walks up to the bully as a means to put an end to the beating his friend is taking. The bully, not happy at all by the kid’s courageous decision to intervene, confront hims and asks ‘What’s up with you?’…

A big right hook to the jaw, that’s what’s up.

The bully immediately falls down, his head violently hitting the ground. The victim’s friend keeps throwing punches and kicks at the downed bully, who eventually gets up and comes back for more.

Bad idea, dude. The bully throws a right hand but the kid in blue dodges and throws a left hook of his own that sends the bully crumbling to the ground again. The friend’s victim keeps unleashing vicious punches to the downed bully before he decides he has had enough and lets him go, visibly ashamed and very dizzy.

The reaction the kid in blue showcased is so rare in these types of bullying scenarios. After witnessing the beating his friend was taking, he didn’t hesitate one second and stepped up bravely.

Huge props to him.
