It should really go without saying that agreeing to a friendly sparring session with a Russian amateur boxer is a terrible idea, but guy in this video had to learn that lesson the hard way.

In fact, judging by the way the teenager in the orange shorts began the sparring match, it seems that he thought he could actually get the better of his smaller opponent in the gray and black hoodie.

After a touch of gloves to signal the start of the impromptu bout he immediately goes on the offensive, launching a series of ineffectual punches to the body and head of his opponent with absolutely no technique whatsoever.

The boxer stays cool, calm and collected during the offensive flurry, keeping his defense compact with his chin tucked and head protected by his gloves, while his elbows guard his body.

Orange shorts resets for a moment, presumably believing he has the upper hand and then wades forward with another flurry of arm punches.

In the midst of this the boxer finally picks his moment to land a single counter left hook to the jaw that sends his opponent clattering to the tiled floor in an untidy heap.

Apparently orange shorts didn’t learn his lesson from that blow, as when he got back to his feet he continued throwing some of the least mechanically sound punches you’re likely to see.

On the other hand, a left hook from the boxer staggers his opponent one way, with a right hook behind it then sending him reeling in the opposite direction, while a ripping shot to the body further takes the wind out of his sails.

Finally realizing that he’s completely outgunned, orange shorts retreats into a defensive shell as he eats more ruthlessly efficient shots until the bout is brought to a conclusion to spare him having his head separated from his shoulders!
