Last night at the UR Fight event, legendary boxer Roy Jones Jr. gave one fighter a chance to win $100,000 for beating him in a boxing match. The man, 5-3 MMA fighter Vyron Phillips. The bout served as the main event for the promotion that featured MMA, pro wrestling, and boxing.
In the night’s main event, boxing legend Roy Jones Jr. fought a contest-winning fan/pro MMA fighter, Vyron Phillips, and subsequently scored a massive, highlight-reel knockout.
Jones Jr., 47, played around for much for the first round, only throwing out a right hand at the end which staggered Phillips. He finished the job a few minutes later, flooring Phillips with a right hand counter at 2:30 of the second round.
