Some people do some crazy things; things that simply deny logic. Then others do things that seem incredibly crazy or dumb at first but, as it turns out, there is a method to the madness. This is exactly what we see in the video below.
At first glance this video seems completely absurd. A man approaches complete strangers on the street and allows them to put on a pair of boxing gloves and attempt to punch him in the face…but there is a method behind this madness.
As a matter of the fact, this is a self-defense video that teaches an incredibly valuable lesson when it comes to defending yourself in a street fight; neither www.mixedmartialarts.com nor myself promote street fighting or physical acts of violence in any form or fashion but there are those occasions that arise which simply require that you defend yourself fight. The lesson taught here is a simple one that is often times overlooked: head movement.
The premise is a simple one: by simply making your opponent miss, you stay safe; he gets tired, and, thus, increases your chances of winning the fight. By simply avoiding punches to the face one will exponentially increase their odds of winning the fight or at least buying time to de-escalate the situation.

So check out the video below to see just how effective and simple head movement is to employ. Learning how to properly evade punches to the face, like anything else, takes time and practice but by learning how to simply avoid getting punched then a person is one step closer to ending the altercation.
