Joanne Jedrzejczyk is the current reigning and defending UFC women’s bantamweight champion. A former muay thai and kickboxing champion, Jedrzecyzk is undefeated at a perfect 11-0 in mixed martial arts. She first won the UFC straw weight title by dominating Carla Esparza at UFC 185 with a second round TKO finish.

Since winning the title Joanna ‘Champion’ has defended her title twice, first defeating Jessica Penne by TKO at UFC fight Night 69 and then winning a decision over Valerie Letourneau at UFC 193.

Jedrzecyzk next fights Claudia Gadelha on the Ultimate Fighter Season 23 finale event which takes place June 8th in Las Vegas. Jedrzecyzk defeated Gadelha in their first fight to earn her shot at the women’s straw weight title and the both just finished coaching against each other on the Ultimate Fighter.

She is the #12 pound-for-pound fighter in the UFC mixed gender rankings. The only female on the list. She is also a six-time world champion and four-time European champion in Muay Thai.
