Join me in recognizing the unlimited potential of women and their stories with the goal of inspiring and empowering all ages. Share your Story/Video with us using #RouseyRevolution Get to know Evnika Evnika is an 8-year-old boxing sensation from Kazakstan. Her quick hands and perfect technique are the result of training since she was 3 years old. Evnika follows a strict training regimen from her father, Raigul. Raigul does not believe in sparring and fears that it’s harmful in a young boxer’s development of necessary technical skills. So Evnika, following in the footsteps of her two brothers and four sisters, trains without a partner and strictly works on perfecting the fundamental techniques. “During training children have the feeling that you feel when you are dancing,” Raigul said to UFC.com. “It allows athletes to open up, to relieve tension and to move for fun.” And that’s all it has been about for Evnika thus far: fun. She loves watching fights of Mike Tyson and Manny Pacquiao though her idols are her brothers and sisters. Now, living in Russia, Raigul doesn’t know what Evnika’s future holds. He said no matter how talented she is, if she does not fall in love with the sport then it will not be her way of life. It’s her choice. Raigul has a small inclination, though. He sees the way she trains every day and thinks Evnika may have already fallen in love with the sport without knowing it. by @rondarousey
More about Evnika:
His eight-year-old daughter won online acclaim after she was filmed throwing 100 punches in just a minute.
Now, boxer Rustram Saadvakass is passing his fighting skills on to her six brothers and sisters.
The Kazakh family, who live in Voronezh in Russia, train five days a week – often in the woods outside their home – and are taught how to dodge and land blows.
Rustram puts his children through their paces once in the morning and again in the evening, and believes the discipline teaches courage and perseverance. The seriously-tough family are pictured sparring with each other in the woods and in the gym with eight-year-old Evnika usually leading the way.
Evnika’s proud father spotted her emerging talent when she was just four, and she can now throw 47 punches in 30 seconds with one hand.
