English boxing star Chris Eubank Jr. has staked his claim for having the fastest hands in the sport in this jaw-dropping video.

The clip was taken from a workout session in which the current IBO super-middleweight champion land a staggering 96 punches in 11 seconds on what appears to be a BoxMaster training station.

Connecting cleanly with almost 9 punches a second seems like an impossible task, but slow-motion footage of the video shows that Eubank was indeed landing with power and precision.

The 28-year-old Eubank Jr. is the son of one of the UK’s most famous boxers, Chris Eubank, who held the WBO middleweight and super-middleweight titles during his 13-year boxing campaign from 1985-1998.

During his 45-5-2 career, Eubank defeated six world champions, but his biggest fights were undoubtedly his two instant-classic wars with long-time rival and fellow UK star Nigel Benn, the second of which was watched by half-a-billion people worldwide.

A truly eccentric character, who often wears a monocle and has been known to drive around the narrow, weaving streets of his hometown in Brighton, England in a 32-foot American truck cab, Eubank became a TV celebrity in the UK after retiring, but these days it’s his son who is now grabbing all the headlines.

While not as eccentric as his one-of-a-kind father, Eubank Jr. has been blessed with his boxing ability and has so far racked up a 26-1 record in the sport, with 20 of his wins coming by way of knockout.

He claimed the British middleweight title last year and has since moved on to win the IBO super-middleweight title, which he’s defended twice so far.

The sky is now the limit for the star, whose next fight is set to be a blockbuster against current WBA super-middleweight champion George Groves in the semi-finals of the World Boxing Super-Series early next year.
