Forget about MMA legend Anderson ‘The Spider’ Silva. Ukrainian boxer Vasyl Lomachenko really is Neo from The Matrix.

Lomachenko is one of the very best boxers in the world right now and one of the most gracious fighters to ever step into a ring. I’m not even hyperboling.

The Ukrainian displays virtually each and very tehnique in the book. He often switches like Gennady Golovkin or TJ Dillashaw. He throws pitter-patter punches on purpose in order to set up heavier strikes, just like the Diaz brothers do inside the Octagon. He crouches and wisely evades like Muhammad Ali or UFC Bantamweight champ Dominick Cruz. He loves targeting the body, just like elite kickboxer Nieky Holzken. To put it in layman terms: he is f***ng Neo from The Matrix.

Vasyl Lomachenko combines all those underrated, classic techniques when he enters the ring. And it shows. Indeed, watching the guy fight is a true pleasure for any combat sports fan. Such boxer is a rare, dying breed and you definitely should be tuning in every time Lomachenko is about to do work.

Sit back and enjoy the following footage. This is poetry.
