Possible the biggest talking point of 2015’s ‘Ip Man 3’ is the showdown between Wing Chun master Ip Man played by martial arts superstar Donnie Yen and the former Heavyweight champion of the world Iron Mike Tyson. Watch the full fight here.
In this behind the scenes featurette, the cast and crew talk about the addition of Tyson in the film and what they felt it added to the film.

One of the movies highlights is the spectacular fight between Ip Man and Mike Tyson. The sophisticated action choreography of Yuen Woo Ping reinforces the perfect romance of the world boxing champion said actor Patrick Tam who plays a triad thug in the film.
Making his action film debut, Tyson was very open minded and wanted to learn as much as he could during production and applying his trade to an action scene.
My first time in an action film, so I’m taking (Yuen Woo Pings) lead, starting to learn his moves and listen to him.
Tyson’s opponent and leading man Donnie Yen had much praise and a bit of trepidation working with the former champion.
Renowned as a world boxing champion, we all know how powerful Mike Tyson’s punches are, hundreds of pounds of force. Fighting with him meant a lot of pressure. A lapse of concentration would get me knocked down. In one scene his hook came extremely fast, though I ducked swiftly I still felt the blow flipping my hair.
