It’s hard to imagine fighters wearing anything that isn’t Reebok these days, fortunately outside of fight time they can wear whatever they like, so here are the Top 7 notable costumes donned by MMA fighters.
7) Felice Herrig as ‘Cammy’
Well known for her attention grabbing weigh-ins and colourful attire, Felice Herrig often expresses this through her love for video games.
I love all the fighting games such as Tekken, Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter…oh and who could forget Punchout.

In this sparring video we see Felice dressed as Cammy against Carla Esparza as Wonder Woman in this dream matchup.

6) Ronda Rousey as ‘Pikachu’
UFC women’s superstar Ronda Rousey makes no secret for her love of all things World of Warcraft, Dragon Ball Z and of course Pokemon.
I got the trading cards first. My first card was a Dragonair. Then, I got the video game on Game Boy Color, and my first one was Pokemon Blue. My first Pokemon was a Charmander, and I was immediately hooked on it. I would have a stack of graham crackers next to me because I would not get up to eat.

Check out this clip of her in training camp as Pikachu.

5) Miesha Tate as ‘Wonder Woman’
For one Halloween former Strikeforce and reigning UFC Bantamweight champion Miesha Tate pulled out the star spangled shorts and Amazon armour as DC’s Wonder Woman. With the new Batman vs Superman film around the corner, one has to ask why Zak Snyder didn’t give her a call.

4) Randy Couture as ‘Chuck Liddell’
What do you when you’re stuck for an outfit? Well you contact your three time fight opponent and former rival and ask if you can dress as them. That’s exactly what Randy Couture did, pulling off a very convincing costume of Chuck Liddell complete with Mohawk, gloves and shorts.
3) Bigfoot Silva as ‘The Incredible Hulk’
When you’re as big as Bigfoot Silva, it’s almost a given you dress as a muscle bound superhero, and this instance is no different as Silva dons the green skin to become the Incredible Hulk.
Ironically BigFoot would come face to face in the cage with ‘The Hulk’ Soa Palelei at UFC 190 winning by TKO in Round 2

2) Tom Lawler as ‘Conor McGregor’
What do you do when fighting on the biggest card of the year? Dress up as the main star attraction. At UFC 196 Tom Lawlor introduced the fans to ‘McLawlor’ a take on Conor McGregor with matching hair and tattoos. Hopefully Tom got matching PPV points as well.

1) Gina Carano as ‘Natasha Volkova’
Making her acting debut in 2008, Gina Carano played the role of Russian black ops agent Natasha Volkova in EA’s Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3. An elite Soviet black ops agent with a shrouded past, she is a cold blooded killer that deals only with the most severe affairs of the Soviet Union.
After Carano’s loss to Cyborg in 2009, she retired from MMA and turned to acting full time.
