Steven Seagal is a musician, PETA Humanitarian Award winner, the reincarnation of Chungdrag Dorje, philanthropist, environmentalist, producer, writer, Father of the Front Kick, reserve deputy sheriff, 9X Golden Raspberry Award nominee, 7th-Dan in Aikido, father to sons Anderson Silva and Lyoto Machida, and somewhat boyishly handsome action film star. Among his elite UFC fighter brethren, he is said to be known as “Fritão”.

In a testament to his remarkable character, Seagal turned down an 8th-degree black belt in Aikido. He is still so really good at it though, that the CIA is rumored to have sent him overseas on missions when an enemy of the state needed a strained wrist.

Rafael Cavalcante is a now-retired Brazilian mixed martial artist, who, at the time of this video, was competing in the UFC’s light heavyweight division. Studying Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since he was 10, he’s a black belt under his mentor, the legendary Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira. Cavalcante is also a Bellator MMA veteran and a former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion.

Cavalcante is known among his elite UFC fighter brethren as Feijão, while Nogueira is called Minotauro, or Big Nog.

O’Sensei Seagal and Cavalcante had occasion to demonstrate their fighting prowess, and luckily for us, the cameras were rolling.

Here is an old video of Seagal testing his students. The video is age restricted by YouTube, perhaps due to the extreme “violence.” Does it look to you like actual pressure testing, or like little kids playing Buta no Yama (Pig Pile), or both?
